My adventure began in the Eternal City, Rome. As I stepped off the plane, the warm Mediterranean air enveloped me, and I could hardly contain my excitement. After checking into my charming hotel near the Colosseum, I set out to explore.

Must-See Sights:

• The Colosseum: Standing in front of this ancient amphitheater, I marveled at its grandeur. I joined a guided tour that brought the history of gladiators and ancient Rome to life.

• The Roman Forum: Just a stone's throw away, the Forum was a bustling center of political and social life in ancient Rome. Walking through its ruins felt like stepping back in time.
